WESTERN LAFAYETTE – A Purdue University teacher along with his spouse, accused of funneling more that $1 million in nationwide Science Foundation research cash in to a personal business that served as a front side to cover their very own individual expenses, pleaded responsible Friday, in line with the U.S. Department of Justice.

Qingyou Han, a technical engineering technology teacher at Purdue since 2007 and director of Purdue’s Center for components Processing analysis, along with his spouse, Lu Shao, pleaded accountable to felony charge of wire fraudulence with respect to by themselves and Shao’s business, Hans Tech of Lakewood, Ohio.
